Reduce Incoming Spam
If you have problems with
excessive incoming Spam emails, there are several things you can do to
reduce this activity. The first step would be to examine
the cause of the spam emails. It could be that you have a website
where your email address is published. If this is the case it is
highly recommended to ensure that your email address is not shown in
any form of Text, but rather in an image. This prevents spammers
from harvesting your address automatically.
Aside from stopping the cause
of your spam, the most effective method to reduce Spam would be to
train your Spam filter by logging into Synergy
Webmail. After logging into Synergy webmail you will be able to
select Spam emails that were not identified as spam and click on
"Report as Spam". This action will benefit your entire domain, and will
also move the email to your Spam folder.
For more detailed information
on how to
train the Spam filter with Synergy see the following page:

Spam and Training Spam Filter
Another way you ensure that
specific emails do not reach your Inbox would be to blacklist the
sender of the email.
For instructions on
Blacklisting/Whitelisting see the following page:

Also, in some cases, you may
be
receiving "Spoofing" emails. These are Spam emails that appear to
be coming from your own domain or email address. If you believe you are
a victim
of spooging, send an email to support@simplicato.com with the subject
"Spoofing Emails". We can more than likely help reduce the
amount of spoofing emails you receive.
