Outlook 2007 Setup

 

Saving the sent messages in the Sent folder

of the IMAP server

 


 

Step 1: Tools -> Account Settings…

 

 

Select Tools from the program menu and then click the Account Settings... option from this menu.

 


 

Step 2: Change the Existing E-mail Account

The Account Settings window will open.

1.    On the E-mail tab, select the E-mail account you would like to change.

2.    Click the Change button.

 


 

Step 3: Internet E-mail Settings form

 

 

Click the More Settings… button.

Click the Folders tab.

 


 

Step 5: Folder Selection

 

 

1.    Select the radio button “Choose an existing folder or create a new folder to save your sent items for this account in”.

·         Expand your e-mail address by clicking the little plus to the left of it – it will open into a folder tree.

·         Click the Sent folder (or optionally any other folder where you would like to store sent messages – you can also create one on this form).

2.       Click OK.

 


 

Step 6: Complete Internet E-mail Settings

 

 

Click the Next button.

 


 

Step 7: Finish the Add New E-mail Account wizard

 

 

Click the Finish button.

 


 

Step 8: Closing the Account Settings window

 

 

Click the Close button.
